The Red Lyon is not a soulless hotel – it is a beautiful 17th century inn. We have welcomed weary travellers for hundreds of years and still offer the same cosy home comforts that you would expect.
We have four well-appointed guest rooms. Guests have their own keys for ‘out-of-hours’ access to the accommodation, and their own entrance to the bar and restaurant during opening times. Just another way we try to make you feel at home.

All of the bedrooms are on the first floor. As the building dates back to at least the 16th Century, such things as lifts were not allowed for in the master plans – so please contact us if you have limited mobility (the rooms can only be reached by fairly narrow stairways).
